Kristy started her veterinary technician career in 2012 at Pima Community College. After graduation she spent time working at Tucson local companion animal clinics and honed her medical knowledge and skills. In 2019 she was fortunate enough to get hired at an exotic animal only practice, where she was able expand her skills and knowledge to exotic pet patients. This clinic is where her management career would start as well, developing her passion for teaching and desire to ensure hospital growth and a balanced work environment. She completed her Bachelor's of Science in Business Management through University of Phoenix in 2021.
As as Arizonan born and raised, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, hiking, camping, or simply scenic driving around this beautiful state. At home she has a variety of rescued companion, avian, reptile, amphibian and arachnid pets to keep her busy.

Risshan is an Arizona native. Her career in veterinary medicine began in 2012 where she worked with exotics for 9 years. She also spent 3 years working at a pediatric dental office. Risshan’s love of animals and helping their owners has called her back to veterinary medicine. When she’s not working or trying to cuddle every hamster on earth, she spends time wrangling her family, animal and human alike. She also enjoys reading, writing, watching horror movies, drinking coffee, and building her home library.

Kelly grew up on a small farm in Queen Creek, AZ, where she was active in her local 4-H Small Stock group, specializing in rabbits, guinea pigs, pygmy goats, chickens, and pigs. She later became the group’s leader, passing her knowledge on to the next generation of small stock showmen. She attended an early-college high school focused on veterinary medicine and earned her associate degree just one week before receiving her high school diploma.
With 12 years of experience in veterinary medicine; six of those as a state- and nationally-certified technician; Kelly has developed strong passions for both emergency/critical care and exotic animal medicine. She continues to expand her skills in these areas with the goal of specializing in the future. Kelly has a particular love for reptiles, including venomous species, monitors, arboreal reptiles, and many more. She is also deeply passionate about wildlife, with the long-term goal of becoming involved in wildlife rehabilitation.

Ben has been passionate about zoo and exotic animals for as long as he can remember. After earning his CVT from Mesa Community College in 2015, he built a broad skill set working in emergency, surgery, and radiology specialty departments - and even spent time in exotic animal care earlier in his career. Now, he’s thrilled to be back in the exotics field and is working toward his specialty in Exotic Animal Practice.
When he’s not caring for patients, Ben loves listening to and writing music, playing video and board games, and enjoying time with his twin daughters and wife. His own animal family includes two dogs, two cats, a leopard tortoise, and a blue-tongue skink.
